Inter-M Co., Ltd. (CEO: Nam-Yong Cho) announced that it has obtained the 1st 2026 NET (New Excellent Technology) Certification granted by the Korean Agency for Technology and Standards (KATS) under the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE) of the Republic of Korea.

The certified technology, titled “Single Network-based Low-Latency and Lightweight Audio Processing Technology,” is a network audio platform technology designed to integrate and process SIP-based general broadcasting systems and AES67-based low-latency professional audio systems within a single network architecture.

Recently, demand for integrated network-based broadcasting, guidance, and security systems has been rapidly increasing across public facilities, smart buildings, hospitals, railways, and integrated control environments. In particular, environments requiring both real-time announcements and high-quality low-latency audio transmission are expanding. To address these market changes, Inter-M has been developing a platform technology capable of integrating general audio and low-latency audio processing within a unified network structure. Through this NET certification, the company has officially demonstrated the technological excellence and future direction of its next-generation IP audio platform technology.

A key feature of this technology is the adoption of a common control bridge architecture based on a single network port, enabling low-latency and general audio signals to be received and controlled through a unified processing path. In addition, the technology optimizes both system resource usage and network processing load through an FPGA and SoC-based lightweight processing structure.

The technology also enhances operational stability and reliability required for broadcasting and emergency announcement environments by controlling transition noise during audio switching through a low-cost digital switching technology.

Previously, Inter-M obtained its first NET certification (No. 1421) in 2022 for its “Audio Clock Adjustment Technology for Low-Latency Streaming Reception.” Since then, the company has continued to validate the technological excellence and commercial viability of its network audio technologies through NEP certification, Green Technology Certification, the IR52 Jang Young-Sil Award, and designation as an Excellent Procurement Product by the Public Procurement Service.
